Amy Elliott, RMT Halifax Location
Originally from the North Shore of Nova Scotia, Amy made her way to massage therapy after earning a degree in International Development Studies from Dalhousie University and spending the next five years as a small-scale organic farmer. Amy's interest in body mechanics stems from her time farming, during which she gained awareness of postural strains, acute injuries, and general aches and pains. Wanting to learn more about how to take a preventative approach to these issues, Amy chose a career in massage. Along with earning a 2200-hour Diploma of Massage Therapy from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Halifax, Amy has also gained trainings in deep tissue massage, hot stone massage, and massage for treating chronic pelvic pain. Amy is passionate about developing collaborative treatment plans with her clients that reflect their personal goals.
